How how each lesson will look.
Gather, teach, connect, send
Each lesson follows the same basic pattern, which models the familiar pattern for worship—gathering, word, meal, sending.
- GATHER: Look at today’s Bible text, lesson focus, big question, key words, and opening prayer.
- TEACH: Open the Bible and Small Catechism with students.
- CONNECT: Start with the group connection to make life applications, and continue on with the Student Sheet activities for Bible, cartoon, Student Book, and life connections.
- SEND: Conclude with a wrap-up, closing prayer, and blessing.
