Listen to the BGSU Men’s Chorus Concert from November 7, 2024
Widely reputed as “America’s Finest Singing Machine,” the BGSU Men’s Chorus is an auditioned large ensemble open to all tenor and bass singers on campus. The ensemble encompasses students across all majors, representing all seven colleges at the University with over half of the members being non-music majors. Uniquely, the chorus functions as a student organization as well as a registered course offered through the College of Musical Arts, deriving from them both an atmosphere of brotherly camaraderie and exemplary musicianship.
The chorus organizes and presents two tours each academic year. Fall finds the singers traveling to locations in Ohio and Michigan, performing at high schools during the day and various concert venues in the evenings; contrastingly, the spring tour ventures to differing destinations with each year. These off-campus pursuits provide opportunities to perform for diverse audiences, serve as musical ambassadors for BGSU, and form long-lasting friendships with fellow chorus brothers. St. Paul’s welcomed this talented group of young men on November 7, 2024. We will also had performances from the Festival Choir made up of a variety of choir members in the area.
